Florida HOA law — statute reference

General information about the Florida statutes that commonly apply to Sanctuary at Oak Creek homeowners, with links to the official source. This is general statutory information, not legal advice.

Sanctuary Get Involved is an independent owner information resource operated by LTI Group LLC. It is not a law firm, the HOA, the Board of Directors, the management company, or an attorney, and it does not provide legal advice or make legal determinations.

This page provides general statutory information and official-source navigation only. The applicable statute, the Association's governing documents, the facts, and effective dates should be reviewed together. For advice about your specific rights or deadlines, consult a qualified Florida attorney.

2026 changes not yet incorporated

The current published edition is the 2025 Florida Statutes. One or more 2026 session laws affecting Chapter 720 are in the official record, with effective dates generally July 1, 2026 (for example, a governing-document "Kaufman language" requirement and developer recreational-facility provisions). These are not yet incorporated into the published statutes; confirm current law at the official source.

Both the statute and the Association's governing documents may apply. The official documents should be reviewed together, and individualized legal questions may require advice from a Florida attorney.
